“Green” energy for the well-being of people in Kazakhstan

As part of the implementation of the Sixth Phase of the GEF SGP, renewable energy sources (RES) and energy-efficient technologies have been introduced and actively used in Almaty, East Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Kyzylorda region. Owing to sustainable solutions, local public organizations and local communities are able to significantly reduce the cost of heat and energy consumption and reduce the carbon footprint in the regions.
